1. Scope

This license applies to the original official Michitai Multiplayer API client
SDKs, their examples and accompanying SDK documentation (the "SDK"). The
"Service" means the hosted Multiplayer API operated by Michitai, including
managed regional deployments operated by us. The backend server software is
not licensed under this license. This is a proprietary, service-only license,
not an open-source license.

2. Permitted use

Subject to this license, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free
license to use, copy and modify the SDK solely to develop, test, maintain and
operate your applications that integrate with the Service. Permitted changes
include compatibility work, debugging and authorized security fixes.

You may distribute the SDK, including permitted modifications, in source or
compiled form only as an integrated component of those applications. You may
sell your applications and games; this does not permit selling the SDK itself.
Recipients may use the bundled SDK only as part of the application to access
the Service. Contractors may receive copies solely to perform permitted work
on your behalf and must comply with this license. Retain this license and
copyright notices with distributed SDK copies. Clearly identify SDK changes
without implying that Michitai authored or endorsed them.

No separate written permission or SDK royalty is required for these permitted
uses. Access to the Service remains subject to its Terms of Service, account
authorization, subscription fees and usage limits. This license does not grant
free, unlimited or perpetual access to the Service.

3. Restrictions

Except with prior written permission from Nichita Levandovici or to the extent
required by applicable law, you may not:

- Sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense or relicense the SDK itself, or publish
  or distribute it as a standalone library, toolkit or competing SDK product.
- Use or adapt the SDK to provide a competing backend service or to access an
  unauthorized replacement of the Service.
- Modify or use the SDK to introduce malicious code, steal credentials or data,
  obtain unauthorized access, bypass authentication, authorization, billing or
  usage controls, or intentionally harm users, applications or infrastructure.
- Remove copyright or license notices or misrepresent the SDK's origin.

Ordinary integration changes and authorized security testing and remediation
are permitted; they do not authorize attacks on the live Service or its users.

4. Ownership and third-party materials

The SDK remains the property of Nichita Levandovici. You retain ownership of
your applications and game content, subject to our rights in the SDK. No
trademark, backend source-code or self-hosting rights are granted.
Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. Steamworks SDK
files and redistributables are governed by Valve's terms; this license grants
no rights to those materials.

5. Earlier releases and termination

Rights validly granted for earlier versions under MIT No Attribution or other
prior licenses are not revoked or restricted by this license. This license
applies to SDK versions distributed under it.

A material breach of this license terminates the rights it grants. On
termination, stop using and distributing the SDK under this license and remove
it from future application distributions, except as required by law or
separately authorized in writing. Service cancellation or suspension does not
by itself prohibit retaining SDK copies for permitted development, but grants
no right to continue accessing the Service without authorization.

6. Disclaimer and liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SDK IS PROVIDED "AS IS",
WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE
COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING
FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SDK OR ITS USE. Nothing in this license excludes
rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Applicable terms and contact

The laws of the Republic of Moldova govern this license, subject to mandatory
applicable law. A separate written agreement may grant additional permissions
or replace specified provisions of this license. All other rights are reserved.
